256 GPU cores. Eight CPU cores. More than a teraflop of computing power. And one big pile of awards at the biggest trade show on the planet, the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It’s been a good week for our just-introduced Tegra X1.
We built our newest mobile super chip to crank out supercomputer-class power. Yet, the power-sipping processor is efficient enough to slide into a new generation of mobile devices, autonomous machines and embedded products.

We’ve already shown off what Tegra X1 can do with NVIDIA DRIVE. DRIVE CX will use the chip to power a new generation of automotive cockpit computers – lighting up rich, distraction-free digital dashboards filled with high-resolution, 3D images and silky smooth animation.
NVDIA DRIVE PX, powered by two Tegra X1 processors, is even more radical. It uses deep learning and neural networks to give automobiles an uncanny level of self-awareness.
DRIVE PX can generate a 360-degree view of the space around the car. It can help cars park themselves — and come back to the driver. It can even recognize cars, trucks, pedestrians and road signs in the environment around the vehicle.
